My story

the heart behind the work: what made me pick up a camera as a career

For as long as I can remember, I've been drawn to documenting life.

I may not have known exactly what I wanted to do when I grew up, but I knew it would be something creative. When I was 12, I got my first digital camera, and from that point on, I was constantly taking photos. My friends, family, road trips, everyday moments, sunsets, my pets, basically if it was part of my life, I wanted to remember it.

Looking back now, I'm incredibly grateful for those photographs. They bring me back to people, places, and seasons of life that would have otherwise faded with time. Some of the images aren't technically perfect, but that was never the point. What matters is that they exist and they bring me back to a moment that would have otherwise been lost.

That perspective has shaped the way I approach weddings and people's love stories.

Over the last decade, I've had the privilege of documenting hundreds of celebrations and witnessing moments that can never be recreated. The photographs couples return to again and again are rarely the most perfect ones - they're the images that remind them of a feeling, a person, or a moment they don't want to forget.

My goal is to create photographs that do the same for you. Images that feel honest, timeless, and deeply personal. Photographs that help you remember not only what your wedding day looked like, but what it felt like to live it.

The best photographs happen when you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. From our first conversation to gallery delivery, I focus on building genuine relationships with my couples so that being in front of my camera feels natural, easy, and stress-free.

Your wedding day is about more than the two of you. It's about your parents seeing you dressed for the ceremony, your friends laughing during cocktail hour, your grandparents holding hands on the dance floor. While you're living your day, I'm paying attention to the people and relationships that helped bring you there.

I'm always thinking beyond what's happening in front of me. I'm considering the moments you'll want to revisit decades from now, the people you'll miss, and the memories that will only grow more valuable with time. My goal is to create photographs that age well, both emotionally and visually.
